Gowling WLG strengthens international arbitration team with appointment of Michael Darowski

International law firm Gowling WLG has recruited arbitration specialist, Michael Darowski, as a partner in its London dispute resolution group. This appointment further strengthens the firm's reputation as a leading dispute practice and follows on from the recent appointment of fellow international arbitration partner, Gordon Bell.

Michael joins from Hogan Lovells. He brings with him 15 years' experience during which time he has been based in the UK and Hong Kong.

Michael has acted for a wide range of clients around the world including the UAE, USA, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the CIS (Russia and Ukraine, in particular). He has advised on complex, high-value arbitrations and arbitration-related litigation in numerous sectors, with a particular focus on energy and natural resources. Michael's expertise will further strengthen Gowling WLG's international arbitration offering to its global clients.
