Ethan Chang

Ethan Chang is an associate in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office.

Ethan's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, and general corporate matters. He has experience with corporate issuers and underwriters in a broad range of capital markets transactions including public offerings. He also has experience representing emerging growth companies throughout various stages of their lifecycles, including corporate formation, structuring and governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ethan completed his undergraduate degree in finance at Western University and his JD/MBA at the University of Windsor. While attending the university, Ethan was a teaching assistant at both the Faculty of Law and the Business School.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Ethan worked at an international corporate law firm in New York. He also worked as a financial analyst at a major Canadian financial institution.
