New partners promoted at Gowling WLG (UK) LLP

Gowling WLG (UK) LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Carter, Sara Chambers, Chris Letters and Şenay Nihat as new partners. They will all be promoted into the partnership on 1 May 2024.

These appointments build on a sustained period of investment in strategic growth and talent which has seen the firm welcome over 20 new partners into the business since January 2023 across offices in the UK, Germany, France and the United Arab Emirates.

The promoted partners are a talented group of lawyers representing each of the firm's four practice groups of Corporate, Finance & Tax; Commercial, Employment, Pensions & Projects; Dispute Resolution; and Real Estate.

Michael Carter is an IP litigator in the firm's leading patents team, and is highly regarded as an automotive sector expert, and is Head of Automotive IP (UK). Sara Chambers is part of the Pensions team and specialises in the cutting-edge and fast-growing area of risk transfer transactions alongside her portfolio of trustee advisory work.

Chris Letters is in the Corporate team and advises on complex and high-profile work for private equity houses, mergers and acquisitions and indirect real estate work. Şenay Nihat is in the Property Litigation team and will spearhead leasehold work in the Living sector, the fastest growing area for property investment in the UK and will support the firm's growing Telecoms sector.
