Our 26th Annual Patent Case Law Review, took place in February 2024.

There was lots to talk about at this year's event, which was chaired by Huw Evans, including some blockbusting decisions from the UK courts and of course, the first six months of the UPC.

We kicked off the event by separating myth from reality in regards to the trends in UK court judgments and Seiko Hidaka evaluated the outcomes of the UPC cases to help us refine our European strategy.

Alexandra Brodie addressed the ongoing developments in the SEP/FRAND case law before Gordon Harris delivered his much-anticipated annual review of UK patent law in 2023.

To wrap up the session, Michael Carter looked into the future and identified what to watch out for in 2024.
